Chae Jong-Hyeop has been cast as the lead in the upcoming webtoon drama, “Unlock The Boss.” The same-named original webtoon, “Unlock The Boss,” tells the story of Park In Seong, a 29-year-old who picks up a smartphone that speaks to him and even gives him orders.
The webtoon “Unlock The Boss” was written by Park Sung-hyun and was serialized between 2020 and 2021 on Naver Webtoon. The webtoon received a lot of attention while serializing because of its unique, thrilling, and humorous story. During the drama adaptation process, a co-writer from Netflix’s Sweet Home series collaborated on a script for “Unlock The Boss.”
The original story begins with Park In Seong going to find a rare mushroom on a mountain in order to sell it and become wealthy.

But then he discovers a wrong mushroom, which is tainted with poison. He couldn’t move or reach his phone after biting the mushroom.

He begins to scream into a cellphone on the ground, saying, “Please call the police for me.” Then a phone rings and says, “I’m listening, and I need your help as well.”
The smartphone Park In Seong found claims that he was the CEO of a big corporation named Jackson Mobile before he was killed. At first, Park In Seong doesn’t believe the smartphone’s words when the smartphone asks him to find the killer. But Park In Seong eventually accepts it because the smartphone wired him a lot of money.
Park In Seong visits Jackson Mobile and pretends to be a cousin of the CEO who has gone missing while listening to the smartphone’s orders through earbuds.

He meets people who could be suspects, including a chairman, a middle-level manager, and the CEO’s secretary. Then he goes on a long journey to find the killer.
