The Synopsis of The Girl Downstairs
Duna Lee, the lead singer of the girl group Sweet Dream, unexpectedly retired, and no one had heard of her.
About half a year after Duna retired, it’s one week before the start of the new semester at Minsong University.
When freshman Joon Lee moves into a shared house with his luggage, he notices a female smoking in front of the front door. Joon recognizes the girl but does not know who she is.
A week later, Joon goes out to get his hair cut before the semester begins. He runs into the same girl he met at the front door, and this time he recalls seeing her picture before. Joon realizes the girl resembles former idol group member Duna.
“Is that you, Duna?” Joon asks casually. But Duna doesn’t like it when someone recognizes her. She becomes very defensive, tries to put the cigarette in Joon’s face, and says, “Sue me.”
Will Joon and Duna, who happen to be housemates, get along well?
