“Reborn Rich,” like the drama “Again My Life,” is about a man who was royal to a wealthy family, was murdered, and then sought a different life when reborn.
Sankyung wrote the novel “The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate,” on which the drama “Reborn Rich” is based, and it was serialized between 2017 and 2018. The novel was adapted into a webtoon in September 2022, a few months before the drama premiered.

Yoon Hyun-Woo, a royal employee of a Sunyang group, is the protagonist of “The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate.”
Sunyang is the largest corporation in the country, and Hyun-Woo did whatever they asked him to do, including money laundering and murdering others.
One day, Hyun-Woo’s boss assigns him to manage the company’s slush fund. While on a business trip for the mission, Hyun-Woo is taken to an unknown location by company personnel. He is then killed for unknown reasons.
When he reawakens after the death, he finds himself in a car, where his parents address him as Jin Do-Joon. Do-Joon is the Sunyang family’s youngest grandson, for whom Hyun-Woo was once royal. Hyun-Woo reincarnated as a wealthy child in the year 30 years before his death.
Do-Joon’s parents are not well received by Sunyang’s owner, Jin Yang-Chul, but he is an exception. His grandfather adores him. The grandfather thinks the boy is gifted and provides him with more opportunities.
