Roh Jeong-Eui has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming drama “The Witch.” The drama is based on Kang Full’s 2013 webtoon of the same name. The drama tells the story of a man who falls in love with a woman who is often referred to as a “witch.”
Park Mi-Jung, the drama’s protagonist, is played by Roh Jeong-Eui. There has been a rumor about her since she was a child, and people have recognized her because of it. Park Mi-Jung was born after her mother died, and she had a mysterious aura during her school days. There were male classmates who liked her, but they were all involved in accidents soon after. In the original webtoon, Lee Dong-Jin learns about the rumors about her and tries to help her.
People dubbed Park Mi-Jung a “witch” because of what happened to her. She, too, believed that people around her were getting into mishaps, so she locked herself up on the rooftop. She became a translator by utilizing her English skills, and she works from home. She dresses up and enjoys her freedom every three-thirty a.m. when no one is around.
Roh Jeong-Eui debuted as an actress in “Bachelor’s Vegetable Store.” She has since acted in a variety of roles, and she was recently recognized for her work in “Our Beloved Summer.” Fans are excited to see how she will appear in the new drama, “The Witch.”
“The Witch” begins filming in mid-2022, with no set release date yet announced.
