Suho wrote the story of “The 26th Murder,” and Abidi Inoue illustrated the drawings. The drama’s production will be overseen by Realies Pictures (Along with the Gods) and Neostory.
“The 26th Murder” is a crime thriller drama about Jang Pil-Doo, a psychopath serial killer who commits a heinous crime and is apprehended. He loses all of his memories the day before his execution, resulting in unexpected accidents. The webtoon is well-known for its character psychology and compelling stories.
The drama producers intend for the drama adaptation to expand on the main plot of the original storyline. The casting will take place in 2022, with the film set to be released in 2023.
Since its first serialization in August 2021, the webtoon “The 26th Murder” has surpassed 1 million views in three months. Because of its popularity, Kakao Piccoma France began serializing it in March 2022 and has been showing it to readers all over the world.
