Park Hae-Eun has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming drama “The Borrowed Body.” Park Hae-Eun plays “Gi Da-rim,” the male protagonist Lee Sang-yoo’s best friend and crush.
“The Borrowed Body,” a Kakao TV original drama, is a fantasy romance drama based on Park Se-Gye’s webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of Lee Sang-yoo, who became anti-social after being falsely accused and despised by all of the students. On the other hand, his childhood friend, Gi Da-rim, is a popular student who is good at both studying and exercising. They switch their bodies while they are praying in front of a water fountain.
Park Hae-Eun was cast as the main character in the TVN drama “Soul Marriage” in early 2021, but she dropped out in the middle of filming. Park Hae-Eun has since completed filming on the movie “Gentleman.” She returns to her busy schedule as soon as she is cast as the heroine of “The Borrowed Body.”
In addition to Park Hae-Eun, “The Borrowed Body” also stars Nam Yoon-Soo and Ryeoun. The original story depicts the complicated friendship of three childhood friends. According to the production team, “The drama will feature many mysterious events and teen romance, as well as a body-changing fantasy element.”
“The Borrowed Body” is a mid-form drama with 15 episodes lasting approximately 20 minutes each. As of March 2022, the drama’s release date had not been confirmed.
