The fourth episode of “Little Women” revealed many answers to the audience’s questions. Not only was the deadly blue orchid’s secret revealed, but the location of the 70 million dollars stolen by Hwa-Young in the first episode was also revealed. The funds were transferred to In-Joo’s overseas account, as predicted in our previous post.
However, our assumption that the money was a gift from Hwa-Young to In-Joo was incorrect. The first episode of “Little Women” mentions that Hwa-Young had plastic surgery just a few days before she died, leading some to believe that she is still alive somewhere with a new face.
It turns out that Hwa-Young had been using In-Joo’s identity for years while living in Singapore, and she eventually wanted to become In-Joo.
Do-Il, who has been looking for the missing money for his employer, discovered that it is in In-Joo’s bank account.
Not only was there money in In-Joo’s account, but there was also a luxury apartment and a car in her name. In-Joo even enrolled in a business school in Singapore.
Do-Il did not report his discoveries to his boss, instead, he told In-Joo about it. He wants to work with In-Joo to get that money for himself.
When In-Joo first saw what Do-Il was showing him, she had no idea what those things were. But as soon as she learns that the properties are in her name, she decides that she must travel to Singapore to obtain them.
In-Joo is desperately in need of money, compared to anyone else in “Little Women.” She even endured being beaten by the Won family’s secretary to keep her money in an earlier episode.
In-Joo desperately wants to buy an apartment with a nice view for herself and her two younger sisters.
What is In-Joo’s plan now? Flying herself into Singapore right away is not the best idea because others will be suspicious of her. Instead, as Do-Il suggests, In-Joo will agree to become Sang-A’s assistant and earn her trust.
The fifth episode trailer shows Sang-A traveling to Singapore for business, and In-Joo may accompany her.
A few clips from the drama trailer show Do-Il and In-Joo traveling abroad and attending a luxury party together; these scenes may be shown in the upcoming episodes as part of their plan to steal the money.
Thank you for reading, and as more episodes are released, we’ll continue to go over the interesting details of “Little Women.”
