Lee Jun-Young from “Love and Leashes” and Roh Jeong-Eui from “Our Beloved Summer” will appear in the same scene in the upcoming film “Wilderness.” In addition to the two actors, Don Lee (Eternals) and Lee Hee-Joon (Mouse) play the other main roles in the film.
The plot of “Wilderness” has not yet been revealed, but as a sequel story to “Concrete Utopia,” it is expected to tell the story of what happens in a world devastated by a massive earthquake. While “Concrete Utopia” takes place in an apartment complex, “Wilderness,” as the title suggests, is expected to take place in a larger open space.
Because the story is set in a devastated world, Lee Jun-Young and Roh Jeong-Eui may not play light romance roles as they did in their recent dramas. Even if the two have a romance, it may be different than in “Love and Leashes” and “Our Beloved Summer.”
Instead, more action scenes are expected in “Wilderness” because the film’s director was the stunt coordinator for “Vincenzo” and “New World.” Don Lee’s cast also creates an expectation of intense action scenes.
“Wilderness” will be produced by the same company that brought you “D.P.” and “Hellbound.” The first filming shoot for the film “Wilderness” began in February 2022. There is no set date for the channel’s release as of yet.
