Im Hyeon-Zu, best known for her role in season 2 of “Heart Signal,” has reportedly been cast in the upcoming drama “See You in My 19th Life.“
The drama “See You in My 19th Life” is based on the same-named romance webtoon. It tells the story of Ban Jie-Um, who has the ability to recall all of her past lives. In her 18th life, she takes on the identity of Yoon Ju-Won, the first love of the male protagonist, Mun Seo-Ha.
Im Hyeon-Zu plays Yoon Cho-Won, Yoon Ju-Won’s younger sister. In the original story, Yoon Ju-Won dies at the age of 12 while attempting to save Mun Seo-Ha from a car accident. Yoon Cho-Won runs into her sister Yoon Ju-Won again when Yoon Ju-Won is reborn as Ban Jie-Um.
Im Hyeon-Zu gained attention after appearing in “Heart Signal” season 2 in 2018, and she began her acting career at that time. She appeared in the webtoon-based drama “A DeadbEATs Meal” in 2021.
In addition to Im Hyeon-Zu, Shin Hye-Sun and Ahn Bo-Hyun were approached to play the protagonists in “See You in My 19th Life.” As of May 2022, casting is still going on, and the schedule for filming has not been released.
