“Unintentional Love Story,” a best-selling BL webtoon, is being adapted into a drama series, with Cha Seo-Won and Gongchan cast as leads. Cha Seo-Won portrays the brilliant ceramist Yoon Tae-Joon, and Gongchan plays Ji Won-Young, a Taepyeong Group employee.
The “Unintentional Love Story” begins with Ji Won-Young, a Taepyeong Group employee who stepped down from his position due to his boss’s corruption. He travels to the countryside to purchase some bowls from a store. From there, he meets Park Tae-Joon, a brilliant ceramist who is admired by the chairman of his company.
Park Tae-Joon is a well-known ceramist known for his outstanding works, but he has been out of the public eye for quite some time.
Ji Won-Young sees it as an opportunity and tries to get close to Park Tae-Joon so that he can return to his position in the company.
Yoon Tae-Joon is played by Cha Seo-Won. He appears cold on the outside because he rarely speaks, but he has a warm heart inside.
Ji Won-Young is played by Gongchan, a member of the boy band B1A4. He is a naturally bright individual who enjoys socializing.
Shin Ji-An, the writer of the BL drama “Where Your Eyes Linger,” will pen “Unintentional Love Story.” Jang Eui-Soon, the director of “Peach of Time,” will direct the drama. The drama “Unintentional Love Story” is set to be released in the second half of 2022.
