Kim Jung-Hwa’s web novel “The Love Story of Flower Scholars” is being dramatized, and the four lead actors have been announced. The setting for “The Love Story of Flower Scholars” is Ewha Guest House, where scholars stay and study for the government exam.
Yoon Dan-Oh, the owner of the Ewha guest house, is played by Shin Ye-Eun. She was the youngest daughter of a wealthy noble family, but at the age of 20, she became the head of the household. She runs a guest house where scholars from all over the country can rent rooms.

There are three attractive scholars in the Ewha guest house who have earned the moniker “Flower Scholars.” Gang-San is a picky individual who prepares for the military service examination. Another scholar named Baek Yoo-Ha is a bastard of a high-ranking government official. He is sweet and warm to Yoon Dan-Oh. Kim Si-Yul, the third person in the group, is a free spirit. He wants to become a government official, but he doesn’t seem to be studying seriously.
The three scholars will be played by Kang Hoon (“The Red Sleeve“), Kim Gi-Hae (“The Witch: Part 2. The Other One“), and Ryeoun (“History of Losers“).

In the original story, “The Love Story of Flower Scholars,” Yoon Dan-Oh is struggling financially to keep the guest house running. Her creditor suggests that if she can locate the king’s missing cousin, her debt will be forgiven. The three “Flower Scholars” agree to help Yoon Dan-Oh look for the person who has gone missing.
The director of “Royal Secret Agent” will helm “The Love Story of Flower Scholars,” which will be released in the first half of 2023.
