The King of Pigs Anime Production
During the initial production stage, The Korea Creative Content Agency decided not to fund the anime “The King of Pigs” because “the content was dark and unpopular.” Fortunately, the director found another investor, and the 96-minute anime was produced at a cost of around 150 million won. The film was first screened at the 2011 Busan International Film Festival, where it won three awards.
